EzGoal - Account Deletion Request
We're sorry to see you go. If you wish to delete your EzGoal account and all associated data, please follow the steps below.
1. How to Request Account Deletion
You can request to delete your account using one of the following methods:
Option A: Delete from Within the App
- Open the EzGoal app on your device
- Go to Settings (tap the gear icon)
- Scroll down and tap "Account"
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision when prompted
Option B: Request via Email
Send an email to ezgoal0422@gmail.com with the following information:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- The email address associated with your EzGoal account
- Your display name in the app (optional, but helps verify your identity)
2. Data That Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, profile picture, and account settings
- Habits: All habit titles, descriptions, check-in history, and streak data
- Goals: All goal information, steps, notes, and progress
- Uploaded Images: Any photos you've uploaded for goals or notes
- Reminders: All saved reminder preferences and schedules
- Folders: All custom folder organization
- Virtual Credits & Debt: All credit balances and debt records
- Subscription Info: Your subscription status (the subscription itself will be canceled)
- Custom Themes: Any custom themes you've created
- Experience Points: Your XP, level, and all progress data
3. Data That May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for a limited period or indefinitely for legal or business purposes:

4. Deletion Timeline
- Immediate: Your account will be deactivated and you will be logged out
- Within 30 days: All personal data will be permanently deleted from our active systems
- Within 90 days: Data will be removed from backup systems
5. Before You Delete
Please consider the following before deleting your account:
- This action is irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
- Active subscriptions will be canceled. You may want to cancel first to avoid charges.
- Export your data before deletion if you want to keep a personal record.
- Streaks and progress will be permanently lost.
